How do you Get Rid Of Anxiety and the physical stress that goes along with it?
When I’m anxious, my pulse rises, my chest hurts really badly, it’s harder for me to breath, and I usually get a headache, and I seem to only get headaches when I’m anxious.
I’m a young female, and this has been happening to me since I was little.
Why does anxiety affect me so much, why do I get anxious often, and especially, how do I prevent/get rid of the anxiety and the physical things, without medicine?
Absolutely any advice would be helpful, and if you know any ways to relieve/prevent anxiety through acupressure, or other ways, then please tell me.
Thanks Beth G for replying. The deep breathing used to relieve the stress some, but it doesn’t do anything for me anymore.
I was always told to first become aware of your anxiety and then try breathing exercises. If you can regulate your breathing, then the other symptoms like headache, chest pain, and increased pulse will be better under control.
I’m not saying stop and sit on the floor and start meditating, just use your awareness of your increading anxiety and get your breathing under control and the rest of your body will follow.
